Description
The Guzzi Doctor notes “In my experience with Moto Guzzi transmissions, most shifting issues are caused by sloppy, worn linkage components. ”
On the 70s and early 80s Moto Guzzi motorcycles, the “bent rod, cotter pin” linkage wears and causes false neutrals and miss shifts. I have assembled a replacement linkage that is a direct bolt on most Tonti framed Guzzis. These spherical rod linkages come, pre-greased with protective rubber boots. One rod end is reverse thread for easy adjustments. Each linkage comes with a left hand jam nut as well as self locking mounting nuts and can be installed in just a few minutes. I sell these for 35.00 plus shipping. I have noticed on some applications that the threaded rods needs to be shortened by about 5 mm at each end.
